Brandon began serving as the lead pastor of Encounter in April 2020. He is a passionate preacher and is constantly exploring new ways to reach the people of Amherstburg. Brandon is happily married to his wife, Nancy, and is the father of two energetic boys, Logan & Elliot. He is a lover of sports, movies, and good food and often draws on those affections in his sermon illustrations. Brandon is so excited to be a part of God's Kingdom work in the town of Amherstburg.
Drew is joining the Encounter team in May 2026. Pastor Drew has spent 26 years in ministry and is a graduate of McMaster University and Masters College and Seminary. He and his wife Amy are proud parents of two adult sons, Jude and Dax. A lifelong sports fan, he loves football, baseball, hockey and enjoys connecting with people on the golf course.
Meagan joined our staff as Children's Pastor at Encounter in the fall of 2025. Meagan has been involved serving in Children's ministry for several years and has a heart and passion for God and children's ministry. Meagan is married to Justin and they have 2 young boys James and Teddy.
Karen Legault
Church Administrator
Karen has been serving on staff at Encounter since 2008. She loves to see how God changes people and ignites a passion in them to love and serve others as He commands us to! She and her husband, Jeff, have been married for over 30 years and have three wonderful children, Adam, Derek & Amanda. Karen loves sports, exercising, family time and playing with her dogs!
